Flower Garden Work Jacket - Olive 3

Strips of floral printed linen are woven similarly to a garden lattice on the front, back and elbow patches.  This jacket is part of a group of four, where an entire vintage tablecloth was used.  Since this tablecloth was well-used, it had stains in some areas.  The strips and blocks of fabric were cut carefully around stains to get the most use out of it.  The back of the sleeve are elbow patches, which are mostly made from the center part of the tablecloth, where there was a spaced out pattern.  Most of the front and back pieces came from the beautiful, lush border of the tablecloth.
